MERU, KE — November 2, 2026 — GuruCrafts Agency Limited announces launch of Quantahire platform

GuruCrafts Agency Limited, a software development firm based in Meru, Kenya, announced on November 2nd, 2026, the commercial launch of Quantahire, a job marketplace that combines quantum-inspired optimization algorithms with browser automation to improve candidate matching and streamline job applications. The platform aims to address inefficiencies in traditional recruitment systems, such as keyword-based filtering and unverified job listings, by offering a more precise and automated approach for both job seekers and employers.
Quantahire integrates IBM Qiskit’s Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA) with Playwright browser automation to rank candidates and automate application submissions. The company states that this approach moves beyond simple keyword matching to consider multiple dimensions of candidate-job fit. The platform is now live at quantahire.tech.
Background and development
The concept for Quantahire emerged from internal discussions at GuruCrafts Agency about the limitations of existing applicant tracking systems (ATS). Chief Financial Officer Eric Mutea, who has a background in financial modeling and optimization, recognized that linear keyword filtering often fails to identify qualified candidates and creates excessive work for recruiters. He introduced CEO Kevin Koome to quantum computing concepts, and together they envisioned a platform that frames candidate matching as a combinatorial optimization problem.
To implement the platform, GuruCrafts enlisted Gideon Ushindi, a recent graduate of Meru University of Science and Technology. Ushindi developed the platform’s architecture, including a Next.js 14 frontend, Django microservices, vector embedding pipelines, and containerized Playwright workers. The system uses IBM Qiskit Runtime SDKs and pgvector databases to execute hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that rank thousands of profiles in parallel.
Platform features and pricing
Quantahire launches with two main offerings. The Quantum Talent Auto-Apply Copilot, priced at $9.99 for a seven-day access or $39.99 per month, is an autonomous agent that tailors CVs for ATS compliance and automatically fills out application forms on platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and Ashby. The Enterprise Quantum Sourcing tool, at $1,500 per month, provides recruiters with a workspace to run batch QAOA sorting, export shortlists to native ATS platforms, and reduce screening time. The company reports that early tests show a reduction in screening time by up to 78%.
Payments are processed through Paystack, with support for cards, Apple Pay, and African mobile money networks including Safaricom M-Pesa. This enables access for users in Africa, India, Latin America, and North America.
Executive perspectives
“Traditional job boards rely on fragile boolean keyword matches that result in rejection for qualified talent and endless stacks of resumes for enterprise recruiters,” said Kevin Koome, CEO of GuruCrafts Agency Limited. “When Eric introduced me to quantum computing, we immediately recognized that candidate-job alignment is not a sequential search problem—it is a multidimensional combinatorial optimization problem. Quantahire is our answer to the global talent crisis, giving candidates an autonomous copilot while offering employers mathematically verified top talent.”
“The mathematical mechanics behind QAOA allowed us to eliminate ghost jobs and unconscious bias simultaneously,” noted Eric Mutea, CFO of GuruCrafts Agency. “By stripping personal identifiable information into zero-knowledge vectors before circuit execution, Quantahire guarantees that candidates are evaluated strictly on merit, technical capability, and salary fit. Gideon Ushindi’s execution demonstrates the engineering caliber emerging from institutions like Meru University of Science and Technology.”
